TMS-220 I2C Bus Host Adapter
Description
The TMS-220 is a I2C Host Adapter designed to work with any computer equiped with a USB port to an I2C bus. It provides an interface with any I2C device. The included software drivers creates virtual RS-232 serial (COM) ports. Therefore the TMS-220 works with legacy software applications such as Windows® HyperTerm(TM). The TMS-220 is supplied with a 3 ft. USB cable, a I2C bus interface cable, and software drivers on CD-ROM.

The major features of the TMS-220 are listed below:
- Supports I2C master and slave modes
- Supports 7-bit and 10-bit addresses
- User selectable bus data rates (40, 80, 100, 200, and 400 kbps)
- USB port powered so there is no bulky power adapter required
- USB Drivers available for Windows and Linux
- USB Driver appears as a virtual com port (can be used with any software that supports com ports - i.e. HyperTerm)
- Supports bus voltages of 3.3V to 5
- Easy to use ASCII protocol (similar to TMS-200 and TMS-210)
- Includes 3 ft. USB cable, I2C bus interface cable and CD-ROM containing the software drivers and user's manual.
